How To Increase Population in Cityville ? some missions, expansions and buildings requires you to increase your cityville population

first you must understand that the left / right populations is different :
the first number is your current population which is increased by buying and building residences or buying, building and finishing (by staffing) landmarks. Neither of these will contribute to total population until they are finished.

The second number is your maximum population which is increased by buying, building and finishing (either by staffing or having certain items). These will not add to your maximum population until they are finished.

Please remember that businesses have nothing to do with population, to increase your population you need to build home's. And to increase your population limit, you can increase it by building community buildings

i think the best way to increase population is with spring bungalow because the size is small and in a 12×12 land area I can fit in either 16 spring bungalows:

16 x 9000 coins = 144,000 coins
16 x 130 population = 2080 population
16 x 3 energy = 48 energies used
